In 1998, the journey of Light Church began when Pastor Isaias and Apostle Sandra, already seasoned pastors in Brazil, received a divine directive from God to relocate to the United States. Uncertain of the specific city awaiting them, their faith led them to step into the unknown.
A year later, in the vibrant city of Miami, they landed at the International Airport, their hearts filled with excitement and anticipation for the unfolding plans of God. Five years of preparation ensued, during which God meticulously shaped their hearts and minds. In August 2004, Light Church held its inaugural service, a humble gathering in the pastor's own living room.
What started as a small assembly in a cozy home quickly outgrew its confines. In just three months, the congregation moved to a local hotel to accommodate the increasing number of attendees. November 2005 marked a significant milestone as Light Church secured its first dedicated place of worship, a testament to the unwavering faith of its founders.
In less than a year, the church faced another wonderful challenge—explosive growth. A second location became necessary to meet the needs of the expanding congregation, signifying a divine endorsement of Light Church's mission.
